You might already be living the freelance dream...
You work from home.
You set your own hours.
You manage your own projects.
But for some reason... You're struggling to get your revenue where it needs to be so you can take that extra trip, save for that new home, keep some cash for a rainy day or start to invest in dream projects or stocks.
It's a cycle that many freelancers find themselves in...
How can some freelancers (who aren't exactly more talented) generate more revenue than others? I've commonly seen a few simple traits:
1. Better use of technology to be efficient, productive and effective at managing their business instead of allowing the business to manage them.
2. Better understanding of how they should price their services.
3. Better understanding of how to position themselves & sell their services.
Most freelancers assume it's something like:
They're just lucky...
They have all the connections...
They don't have a personal life...
They already had a bunch of relationships...
This isn't the reality.
The reality is -- Most freelancers simply focus on fundamentals and have a few simple techniques that they can rely on. Sure:
Some freelancers have an amazing network that they can rely on to get great advice and amazing tips.
This is 100% an advantage...
But when I got started freelancing in 2014 - I didn't have that.
I had to learn how to grow my business as a freelancer the hard way.
In my first year of business, I did roughly $100k and in my 2nd year I surpassed $220k. In two years, I learned through trial and error the things that I could have learned if I had a network of freelancers to rely on...
But I didn't... And I decided I wanted to create this guide for anyone else who jumps into freelancing but doesn't quite have an amazing network.
So... If you're wondering:
How can I achieve my revenue goals for this year? What tips and tricks may I be overlooking when it comes to freelancing?
Buckle up...
